These concrete silos were no longer used by the farmer, so he was a-okay with me adding holes to the roof. I’m sure that one day they will be scheduled for demolition. But, for now, they are home to some pesky feral pigeons. The farm is also infested with European Starlings, English House Sparrows, and Norway Rats. All of those species have made their homes in the cattle barns – making them difficult to shoot without the threat of injuring the livestock or the barn walls. I think I may return to this property in the future with night-vision equipment and a low powered rifle (sub 12 ft/lb) for the purpose of smacking the vermin inside the barns. The birds would be roosting and the rats would be out and about. ————————————————————————————————- For more information on my entire shooting setup, watch this video: www.youtube.com I shoot pigeons regularly. In part to keep their numbers from swelling out of control, and also to feed my pets and (on occasion) myself. If you bag 10-12 of them, they make for a nice pie. This footage was taken on April 28, 2012. The gun is an Edgun Matador.22 PCP air rifle. Mine cost me 50US. They now cost 50US. I am shooting 18.1g JSB pellets @ 900fps (it’s not your grandfather’s pellet gun). The scope is a Hawke Sidewinder IR Tactical 6.5-20X. The camera mount is a Seben DKA2. And the camera is a Casio EX FC150. I have made individual videos for all that gear – you can find

this is a modified Air Force condor air rifle shooting at 300 yards with desent shot placement. I milled the valve port, and put an stronger spring in it, I also milled a sleve to cone the air into the berrel. Make the rifle much more powerfull.

It may look like the Logun S16, but the EB XVi take-down PCP is a completely different animal on the inside. Nigel Allen takes a closer look…

Another bunny hunt, I only got 4 rabbits but enjoyed the evening greatly, as i’m not in it for the number of quarry shot, but just enjoy being out with the rifle.
