Rabbit/quail killed with the gun? I have owned the same model the video since 98 and my dad got it new in 75 and we have killed many squirrels/birds”not flying” with it. If you can even hit a moving target rabbit/quail (which you never see either of them unless running or flying) with a .22 rifle, let alone air rifle, then you would be rich.They make 3-6 models of the gun. The mod 342 is one of the last .22 air rifles made and @650fps it put squirrels down easier than new 1200fps .177 cals
you can to put optics on but you will have to buy benjamin scope mount at like a gun store or something i have the benjamin 347 177 call and it shoots 900 fps tested with crony
You need to realize that this rifle is not designed to be pumped over 8 times. Each pump is approximately 100 ft per second. This is a great rifle, I currently have a scope mounted on mine and mine is the vintage Benjamin probably 40+ years old. I can shoot things accurately from 5 yards to 35 yards.

i own this gun. you should pump the rifle up to 8 times. not more than 8. if you pump it more than 8 times it will gradually fuck up your rifle.

I have this gun, check my channel soon for my review and breakdown. Mine looks exactly the same as this one. It shoots very nice, and the pump should work fairly smooth. My grandpa who owned it cut off the backstock and remounted it, so its a pistol grip or rifle butt ended 342. Thanks uploader for sharing!
