www.ReplicaAirguns.com – Umarex Walther CP88 CO2 Pellet Gun Review. -CO2 Powered -.177 Caliber Pellets -393 FPS -8 Round Rotary Magazine -Semi Automatic SA -Walther P88 Replica -Purchased from: www.ReplciaAirguns.com This is a table top review of the Umarex Walther CP88 CO2 .177 caliber pellet pistol in the Blued (Matte Black) finished version. I show you around the gun and walk you through its basic operation and handling. I have included some video of a target example showing you an 8 round grouping I got from 20 feet out with this fine German made air pistol. I also put the pellet shooter on the Chony Chronograph to find out its real world feet per second rating. The Umarex Walther CP88 is almost all metal and very dense at 2.25 pounds. It is extremely well made. The Umarex Walther CP88 pellet air pistol is one of the higher quality airgun in my opinion. It is built to look like the real steel but it still keeps in mind that it’s an airgun at heart and uses engineering that makes sense for an airgun – and so it functions extremely well. @trashyourplace The one in this video and the one I sell are made in Germany.
@okachoe yeah, but be sure to use a fresh co2 canister when going for the kill so you’re sure you’ve got full power, hollow points work good, i’ve dropped vermin at 25ft. also the speed loader rocks, you can load seven 8-shot magazines quick and easy, which is just enough for 1 co2 canister. i really want the silencer, it looks so cool.
@switchingtomac I have this gun. It does not have the white markings on the side. It was given to me by a former RCMP firearms instructer. Also, I can’t seem to keep the C02 grip cover on the gun. Right now it is held on by black tape. Can you tell me how I can fix that?
@ksimmons747gmail There is a metal catch that may be broken or need adjusting to keep the grips on?
is this automatic or semi automatic?
@musclecarfan95 Semi auto.
Seems the Canadian guns have a lot more warning text on them than in the UK. We do have some but doesnt seem as much, especially on the tanfoglio witness ours has much less text on the slide.
is this good for backyard ratting?
@gdub12345 Yes, too many stupid people here in america that will sue for just about anything.
@gregapage May be a bit underpowered?
could you do a review on the cp99 .177 CO2 please?
@qb78d I did one on the CP99 Compact and the CPSport, I don’t have a CP99 just yet to review…
@switchingtomac you should get a gamo p23 to review. They are pretty cheap here in the USA. (around $55.00)
@tdm17mn They’re not too expensive here in Canada. They seem to have lots of plastic though?
@switchingtomac of they are plastic, they sure don’t look it. They can fire bbs or pellets.
@tdm17mn Mostly metal and this one shoots .177 caliber pellets.
can you buy the wood grips seperate?
@MrAirsoftking96 Yes I have seen them available separately.
@switchingtomac I have one question yet for you. Should I get this cp88, the cp99, or the ppk/s?? Thanks!!
Build quality one these is good but not better than good. Currently have a bad problem from new with the magazine release and Google tells me this is not isolated. Otherwise, good gun.
@gdub12345 no shit. I want to paint it to match the rest the text is SO annoying!
@ksimmons747gmail the grip on these is tight. I’d suggest pulling slightly with pliers on the metal piece that locks it onto the handle. It should be enough to lock it into place… at least that’s what I’d try. Tape isn’t very nice..
@tdm17mn The cp88 weighs close to the p88 to keep it rather realisti – for a pellet gun
Temperature issues notwithstanding,i’d still come to expect this expensive co2 firearm repelica to be more loud sounding.Nevertheless, finances permitting i’m gonna get the nickel versions of both the wood and black plastic grips models, along with that expensive red laser add-on.
@Pimpczar2011 My videos do not replicate the audio levels very well.
